1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, accessing, or using SplitPilot (provided by Dream2code.in), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use SplitPilot.

2. Nature of Service & Ledger Disclaimer

SplitPilot provides digital expense recording, expense splitting algorithms (Equal, Exact, Percentage, Shares), greedy debt minimization solver engines, and budget tracking visualization tools.

3. User Accounts & Responsibilities

When creating an account on SplitPilot, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete registration information.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials and accept responsibility for all activity occurring under your account.
• Ensure that expenses recorded in group ledgers accurately reflect actual shared costs agreed upon by group members.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use SplitPilot to:

• Upload fraudulent, misleading, unlawful, or offensive expense claims or receipt attachments.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with the application, direct join link tokens, or underlying Firestore security rules.
• Interfere with or disrupt the performance of our cloud infrastructure or servers.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All logos, brand assets, source code, designs, UI animations, greedy debt minimization algorithms, and documentation associated with SplitPilot are the exclusive property of Dream2code.in. You are granted a non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial expense management.

6. Limitation of Liability

SplitPilot is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dream2code.in and SplitPilot developers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from calculation discrepancies, user entry errors, network offline status, or uncollected group debts between individuals.

7. Modifications & Termination

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of SplitPilot or amend these Terms & Conditions at any time. Material changes will be communicated via app updates or notifications on our website.

8. Governing Law & Contact

These terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts.
